The connections we hold are so important.  As part of my RED series I wanted to show a surfer sitting and watching and leave it to interpretation of what the last wave means. Is it catching the last wave of the day, watching the last wave or thinking of a surfer lost but ultimately its connection and the power that connection holds in nature. Porthcothan Bay

This piece is part of my RED series which began with Resilience and the poppies of West Pentire.  I stripped the colours away to simplistic black and white and left one, striking red item of significance in the scene.  The Full series features Resilience, By Your Side, Thinking of You, The Last Wave, Tidal Connection and Rest.
