Sapphire Energy Original Painting 16×16 Inch

Description

The energy of the sea can never be underestimated.  Its a powerful and magnificent force of nature and the healing powers of water and being near water to life and rejuvenate are just something to be in awe of.  The sky above is a driver to what is below.  Something we take for granted and yet looking up you feel free watching how fast the sky changes.  The way the light sits and reflects can impact your very being.

This was a view from a walk back from Rock to Daymer Bay.  On the way back, we decided not to go back over the dunes but over the sand, so we had to wait for the tide to fall back and edge our way forwards.

Sitting on the rocks while we waited, it took hours but we sat, we chatted and laughed and watched the sun lowering in the sky and creating the glow and the light changing as the energy of the sea retracted to allow us to pass.

We could have gone back over the dunes but we would have missed the sound of the water retreating over the rocks, the laughs we had as our feet got wet, we ended the walk with the best smiles and felt ready for another day.

An original acrylic on canvas measuring 16×16 inch. The glow was achieved by adding 24k gold leaf to the gold accents. Its one of my favourites to see.
